The flying juniors

September 27, 2010

I don’t personally know these guys but ran across this on the internet the other day: 3 young pilots from Belgium who are on a round-the-world flight in a single-engine homebuilt aircraft:

The flying juniors homepage, and here is their blog.

They are currently in Thailand according to their GPS tracker. I had one of those spidertracks onboard one time and unbeknown to us the darn thing quit halfway between Keflavic and Wick. When we landed in Wick there were about 25 missed calls on our cellphones and one very worried customer back home.

As for the flying juniors, I admire their spirit and wish them a safe flight.
